- Pain de Tibetot, who, serving in the Scottish wars, during the latterpart of the reign of Edward I, was summoned to Parliament as a Baron.Upon the accession of Edward II, in 1307, served from March 10, 1308, toNov. 25, 1313. He was subsequently Justice of the Forests beyond Trent,and Governor of the Castle of Northampton. His lordship, who made severalcampaigns into Scotland, fell eventually at the Battle of Strivelin, anno1314. He married Agnes, daughter of William Ros.
